One of my all time favorite concerts!!!

If you read my first blog, about music, then you would know just how much I appreciate everything about it. In this blog, I wanted to tell you about one of my all time favorite concerts, Metallica, that I had the pleasure of attending last year. This has always been on my bucket list and, thankfully, they didn’t disappoint. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, then you are seriously missing out on some amazing stuff.

I think it’s only fitting to bring this up, as I will be attending another concert in a couple of weeks. It won’t be the same band, but it’ll be a great birthday present. Attending concerts and shows is something I love to do and that will never change.

Metallica is an American heavy metal band know for their astonishing guitar rips and influential lyrics. The band was formed in Los Angeles, CA in 1981, by lead vocalist and guitarist, James Hetfield, and head drummer, Lars Ulrich. Both of which are still, original, members of the band today. It’s crazy to think that they have been together for almost 40 years, now. The band’s fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicality made them one of the founding “big four” bands of thrash metal, alongside Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. They are beyond inspirational, not just as artists, but also as human beings. So if you ever get the chance to see them live and in concert, take it!

They put on such an amazing, mind-blowing show with tons of older music, which made them who they are today, but also added some of their newer stuff. I have been a fan of Metallica since I was in the womb, I swear. 🙂 I was born into the rock and roll world and I am so glad to have grown up with it and still appreciating it today. My dad is the main reason why I fell in love with it. That’s what was on the radio when I was young and now it’s what I choose to listen to, amongst other music, as an adult. I truly hope this style of music, especially Metallica, never dies.
